I told Lucy, “No more treats.” She cocked her adorable head as if to say, “What, no treats?” I drew this portrait with pen and ink and pencil on textured paper pre-highlighted with a warm random shading. (In this version I isolated the image and set it on white.) Lucy is our 8 year old havapoo (havanese-poodle mix). Adorably cute and extremely smart, we love her.
