Artist's Description
As she emerges from her sandy nest, carrying her “shell” eggs, the sea monster breaths smoke and foam to ward off the lonely hiker, who just hiked two miles of sandy beach on Lido Key. No packed trails here, no cushy shoes to help with the run, just shifting sands that make walking difficult, let alone running from monsters.
This gnarly driftwood is located about a mile away from the public beach area on Lido Key Sarasota, Florida. Someone probably left the seashells there for display.

A real sea monster. As children visiting a beach, my siblings and I used to climb on tangles such as these. Now-a-days, they are best left alone. They make gorgeous photo images and are quite artistic just being there.
