We visited the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens orchid show and were able to take pictures of these beautiful orchids. A square format picture of the Paphiopedilum, often called the Venus slipper, is a genus of the lady slipper orchid subfamily Cypripedioideae of the flowering plant family Orchidaceae. The genus comprises some 500 accepted taxa including several natural hybrids.
