I painted this frosty sunset view winter scene from a childhood memory in Colebrook, New Hampshire. I was following a stream on our farm through the woods after a recent snowstorm. Just before sunset a deer came into the scene and stopped, taking a long look at the sunset. It was a magical scene that I have tried to capture in this digital painting.
