British Columbia has such beautiful rocky mountain settings. I took this beautiful picture in the early morning so the shadows were long and the river bank was dark and golden. It is minimally manipulated to enhance the colors, then reflected to enhance the water feeling.
We (my wife Pat, youngest son Scott, and I) took a trans-Canada train trip in September 2018 and took these beautiful pictures. We had many more, but these are some of the best color, black and white, and selective color photos. We started in Vancouver, BC, spending the day there taking in the park, downtown sites and restaurants, and the tram up Grouse mountain. The next day we left on VIA Rail, went through the rocky mountains, the plateau, and plains to end our trip in Toronto four days later.
