I digitally painted the original, White Heron Diva, from an image taken on Holmes Beach, Florida , on my Mac using Sketchbook software, at 4000x6000 pixel resolution. I composed it referencing images of the bird at dusk. The bird was looking at us as if she owned that spot on the beach and we were not welcome. She looked over her shoulder like a Diva.
