Description
I painted these mountains in a surreal, close, impressionist style. Location in the New Hampshire, Connecticut River Valley. I wanted a haunting, foggy, cool, frosted look, just as if it was after a fall quick snow shower. The colors are bright on the trees under the snow. The sun comes out and the snow quickly starts to melt. I wanted the partial mountain to raise the question, “What does the rest of it look like?”
