Description
As our catamaran sails around the point along the Na Pali Coast side of Kauai we look up and see this vertical spire on the cliffs rising over 2000 ft. above the ocean. The spire rises above the falls over the stone arch. The 400+ ft. waterfall is coming down the front of the bluff over the open arch.

Kauai is an island in the Central Pacific, in Kauai county, part of the Hawaiian archipelago. It's nicknamed "the Garden Isle" thanks to the tropical rainforest covering much of its surface. The dramatic cliffs and pinnacles of its Na Pali Coast have served as a backdrop for major Hollywood films, while 10-mile-long Waimea Canyon and the Nounou Trails traversing the Sleeping Giant mountain ridge are hiking destinations.
