Description
We all have light within trying to get out. I started doodling this abstract expressionist sketch while being in a state of anger and despair, feeling closed in, trapped in a system that did not open up to that light within. I began to realize that the barriers are most prevalent within myself. Even though the external pressures have not changed, if I drop some of the internal barriers, some light can emerge through that darker self experience. Often the light emerging from the darkest places becomes more beautiful than it would have otherwise.
