This sunset photo was taken at Bird Key park, between downtown Sarasota FL and Lido Key, at the end of John Ringling Causeway Bridge. It is a nice place to take a walk walk, walk your dog, picnic at any meal, watch the sunset, go kayaking, drop a line to catch fish or just read a book and enjoy the scenery. Parking is plentiful but fills up in the evening as walkers want to get in their exercise. Many benches provide a place to lookout over Sarasota Bay. Covered picnic tables are available. Dogs appreciate the dog water fountains. Walking paths extend the length of the park and go under the John Ringling Causeway Bridge.
