Ahoy Mate is a digital painting capturing a sailing yacht returning from a glorious day of sailing. A race is won or lost, it doesn’t matter, for the day was gloriously beautiful, and all aboard are elated for the experience. The sun is waining, but not yet setting down over the horizon. Calling out, “Ahoy Mate,” to passers-by, the sailors are glad to be simply, out there.
